Each April, hundreds of juried independent and emerging artists descend on the hub of innovation, expression, and individuality that is Austin, Texas. 20,000+ art enthusiasts from the region and nation are expected at Art City Austin 09 (formerly the Austin Fine Arts Festival). The outdoor fair is set against streets, plazas, and green spaces on the edge of a flourishing and hip downtown shopping and arts district where the award-winning Austin City Hall rests on the banks of Lady Bird Lake. Enjoy 200+ Juried Artists, Live Music, Local Culinary Treats, Community Art Installations, Children's Art Activity Area, and much more! Welcome to Art City! Dates: April 25-26, 2009 Hours: Saturday, 10am - 6pm & Sunday, 11am - 6pm Location: Art City Austin 2009 will be held along Cesar Chavez Street from Colorado Street to Lamar, including the S. 1st Street Bridge. Entrances are located on Cesar Chavez at Guadalupe + Colorado + Lamar and the S. 1st Street Bridge (1st Street at Riverside). Admission: Adults - $8.00 (one day) $15 (2-day Art Pass)
