The exhibition WORDS centers on Austin artist Laurie Frick's large abstract collages where words, patterns, and colours merge to reference memory. Partnering with the Texas Book Festival, the gallery commissioned Texas writer Mary Helen Specht to write a prose response to Ms. Frick's visual imagery.
