Dan Cameron, one of the most accomplished and prolific curators of our time discusses how contemporary art brought hope to a post-Katrina New Orleans when nothing else could, what it takes to mount the largest contemporary art biennial in the US and insights into current trends in contemporary art and his artist selection process for Prospect.2 scheduled for Nov 2011.
This talk is made possible in partnership with Landmarks and the Department of Art + Art History's Visual Arts Center at The University of Texas at Austin and is supported by The Marie and Joseph D. Jamail, Sr. Regents Professorship in Fine Arts.
