Awards

Top 15 entries will be exhibited at various events during Art Week Austin 2010 including Art City Austin 2010.

(1) Grand Prizewinner will be awarded $1,000 US. Based upon completion and results of a feasibility study by Art Alliance Austin, Art Alliance Austin expects to build the winning design as part of Phase II.
(1) Second prizewinner will be awarded $500 US.
(1) Third prizewinner will be awarded $250 US.

All winners will be notified and announced on April 21, 2010.

The Jury will be solely responsible for the selection of the finalist. The decisions of the Jury are final and will not be subject to review. Contact with any member of the Jury is prohibited and will be grounds for automatic disqualification from the TOGS™ Competition.

2009 Winners

More than 200 registrations from 26+ countries were generated. First place for TOGS2 went to Juan Alfonso Galan from Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, living and practicing in London, UK. His "Clip On Gallery" pictured above was chosen from 200 entries this year. Second and third place winners are Shinya Nakae of Yokohama, Japan and Rob Corser of Seattle, Washington respectively.

The following individuals and teams were also among the top 15 entries: Francesca Bonesio and Nicolas Guiraudo from Paris, France; Gregoire Diehl and Lenka Mikova from Paris, France; Amna Ansari and Ada Ho from Houston, Texas; Christopher Gerrick from Seattle, Washington; Bjorn Van Rheenen and Matiss Steinerts from Amsterdam, Netherlands; Frank Stahl from Utrecht, Netherlands; Chao Jung Chen from Taipei, Taiwan; Jeff Salmon and Katelyn Lucas from Brampton, Ontario; Anthony Di Mari and Nicolas Norero from Hicksville, New York; Paul Morel from Los Angeles, California; Peter Storey from Austin, Texas; and Luke Davis from Modoc, Indiana. We would like to thank all 200 entries that TOGS2 received from around the world.
