ARTBASH at native hostel

ARTBASH at native hostel, November 10th, 2017

ARTBASH returns in 2017 to Native Hostel in east Austin. This event will kick-off the East Austin Studio Tour on Friday, November 10th and the venue will then remain open to the public for the first weekend of EAST.

Art Alliance Austin teamed up with Big Medium to create an exhibition and lounge at Native Hostel. This will be a unique destination for art enthusiasts, artists, and gallerists. Art Alliance Austin has commissioned seven local artists to create new works that explore the idea of intersection through emersion + mobility. This addresses the experience of being consumed and/or in the action of motion. Each artwork will contribute to the architecture of the space by pushing the boundaries of the viewer experience.  The exhibition will be open to the public the first weekend of EAST and will have additional programs and events, beginning with the ARTBASH Preview Reception, Friday, November 10th.

The Art Alliance Austin at Native Hostel exhibition will be open to the public for free on Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th from 11 am to 6 pm each day. There will be a happy hour from 4p – 6p each day with artists talks.

ARTBASH is chaired by Bryan Cady of DEN Property Group and Antonio Madrid of ICON Design + Build
