Art Alliance Austin – Your Connection to Austin Art

We couldn’t host our events or impact the arts community without the help and support of enthusiastic volunteers. Each year over 1,000 people actively participate in support of the organization, giving their time to create unbelievable cultural experiences for their community to enjoy. Our volunteers enjoy connecting with others and creating new relationships, positively enhancing mind & body, having fun, and receiving insight into a highly respected non-profit organization and the influence it has on their community.
JOIN THE ART CITY AUSTIN COMMITTEE
We are actively seeking volunteers to join the Art City Austin Committee; a group of 50 dedicated volunteers who work hard throughout the year to create a unique and enjoyable festival for our patrons. As a member of the Art City Austin committee, you will work closely with Art Alliance Austin staff, Art City Austin Chairs, and other committee members. Members select a focus group/area that impacts the overall festival’s success, such as Artist Hospitality, Physical Arrangements & Logistics, Front Gate, and more. Art City Austin committee members get to see the inner workings of putting on a 10,000+ attendee festival, create strong relationships with staff and fellow committee members, and receive special perks during the planning and weekend of the festival.
If you are interested in learning more and possibly joining this committee please email Wendy Prindle, Director of Operations, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
REGULARLY RECURRING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Art Alliance Austin hosts several additional programs that could use assistance in such areas as general support, event set up/tear down, bar tending (must be TABC certified), event flow management, guest check-in and greeting, and artist relations. Events include:
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for this fun, energetic, and diverse group please email Wendy Prindle, Director of Operations, at email@example.com. We maintain a roster list and make calls for volunteers as needed for upcoming events. Please indicate which event or area you are most interested in.
