Austin-based art studio Atelier Dojo is thrilled to announce their rigorous training to young dedicated artists between 13-18 years old throughout Summer 2019. The Summer Teen Intensive Classes are designed to offer a sampling of the Dojo’s yearly courses in drawing and oil painting, specifically tailored to teens. Students should come prepared to learn, grow and have fun. The Atelier Dojo Teen Intensive Classes run June 3 – 7, July 15 – 19 and July 29 – Aug. 2, 2019 at the Dojo studio at Canopy and will include drawing and painting. Seats are limited. See www.atelierdojo.com for more information and see below for the class schedule.
“Atelier Dojo welcomes young, dedicated, and curious artists to join us in developing visual communication skills through drawing and painting,” said Atelier Dojo co-founder Karen Maness. “Come learn the language of drawing and painting. Tell powerful stories with your work.” Atelier Dojo is a professional art academy that is the dream of four female artists determined to cultivate a community of representational painters in Austin. Nationally recognized founders Jennifer Balkan, Denise Fulton, Karen Maness and Karen Offutt have embarked on a journey to create a home for emerging and established artists through workshops, classes and open studios.
